This Cancellation and Refund Policy outlines the terms under which bookings made through the TraviaLux platform may be canceled and refunded. By using our services, you agree to the following terms:
Guests may cancel bookings through their TraviaLux account or by contacting support. Refund eligibility depends on the timing of the cancellation:
– Full refund: If canceled at least 5 days before check-in.
– 50% refund: If canceled between 2 to 4 days before check-in.
– No refund: If canceled less than 2 days before check-in or in the case of a no-show.
Hosts are expected to honor all confirmed bookings. If a host cancels a reservation:
– Guests will receive a full refund.
– The host may be penalized, including possible account suspension or listing removal.
– Repeated cancellations may result in permanent delisting.
In cases of natural disasters, government restrictions, or health emergencies that prevent travel or accommodation, TraviaLux may issue full or partial refunds at its discretion, depending on the specific circumstances.
Refunds are processed within 7–10 business days to the original method of payment. The exact timeline may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.
Car hire bookings follow the same refund policy as accommodation unless otherwise specified. Last-minute cancellations may result in no refund depending on prior agreement.
